Purchasing Specialist

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Purchasing Specialist role based in Al Jizah, Egypt. The Purchasing Specialist is responsible for managing end-to-end purchasing activities, including sourcing suppliers, requesting quotations, and negotiating pricing and terms. Daily tasks include preparing and processing purchase orders, tracking deliveries, maintaining accurate records, and coordinating with internal teams to understand material and service requirements. The role also involves monitoring inventory levels, ensuring compliance with company purchasing policies, and resolving any issues related to orders, invoices, or supplier performance. The Purchasing Specialist collaborates closely with project and technical office staff to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement that supports ongoing operations. Qualifications Candidates should possess skills in Purchasing Processes, Purchasing, and Purchase Management. Candidates should possess skills in managing Purchase Orders and related documentation. Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills for cost comparison, supplier evaluation, and data-driven decision-making. Relevant experience in procurement, supply chain, or a similar role within engineering or construction environments is beneficial. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities are required. Effective communication and negotiation skills with vendors and internal stakeholders are important. Proficiency in using office and procurement software tools, and basic knowledge of contracts and terms is an advantage. A diploma or degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field is preferred. Show more
