The Technical Delivery Lead is responsible for ensuring the effective execution and coordination of software delivery across engineering teams, including Development, QA, Integration, Data, and DevOps. The role ensures delivery integrity, manages cross-team dependencies, and provides consolidated delivery visibility to the PMO. The Technical Delivery Lead works closely with Project Managers to ensure technical execution aligns with delivery plans while proactively identifying risks that may impact timelines or system stability. Primary Responsibilities: 1. Technical Delivery Leadership Coordinate technical execution across Development, QA, Integration, Data, and DevOps teams. Ensure delivery teams operate efficiently across the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC). Monitor sprint progress and delivery commitments, ensuring alignment with project plans defined by the PMO. Ensure Definition of Ready and Definition of Done standards are respected before work enters development. 2. Dependency and Delivery Coordination Translate complex business requirements from Middle Eastern stakeholders into actionable technical user stories for the Egypt-based team. Manage in close collaboration with PMO the project expectations regarding timelines, scope, and deliverables Identify and manage cross-team dependencies impacting delivery timelines. Facilitate coordination between engineering teams to remove technical blockers. Ensure technical sequencing of work is aligned with project planning. 3. Technical Risk Governance Proactively identify technical risks including architecture complexity, integration challenges, and environment readiness. Escalate delivery risks to the PMO and leadership when timelines or quality are threatened. Ensure mitigation plans are defined and executed. 4. Release Readiness & Delivery Stability Oversee technical readiness for releases including environment stability, testing completion, and integration validation. Coordinate technical teams during critical delivery phases. Ensure production deployments follow defined release governance. 5. Delivery Reporting & Visibility Provide consolidated technical delivery updates to the PMO. Track delivery progress, team capacity, and potential delivery constraints. Support leadership with data-driven insights on delivery performance. 6. Engineering Collaboration Work closely with engineering leads to ensure technical feasibility of planned work. Promote collaboration across teams to improve delivery predictability and quality. Support continuous improvement of delivery practices and engineering workflows. Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to foster a culture of Delivery. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing. Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. 8–12 years of experience in software delivery, with at least 4 years in technical delivery leadership roles. Strong understanding of backend/frontend technologies, DevOps, and cloud environments (SaaS/FinTech experience is a plus). Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, agile delivery practices, and modern architecture patterns. Experience coordinating multi-team delivery environments. Familiarity with cloud environments, integration architectures, and enterprise software systems. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Excellent stakeholder communication and coordination skills. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills. Proven ability to navigate complex stakeholder landscapes and mobilize resources rapidly during high-stakes or mission-critical situations. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in healthcare technology or revenue cycle management systems. Experience in the GCC is a plus. Experience managing distributed delivery teams.
