Role Description The Waiter/Waitress role at Hilton in Cairo is a full-time, on-site position in the food and beverage department. In this role, you will welcome guests, present menus, provide detailed information on dishes and beverages, and take accurate orders using appropriate POS systems. You will serve food and drinks promptly, ensure tables are set and maintained to brand standards, and respond to guest requests and feedback in a professional and courteous manner. Daily responsibilities include coordinating with kitchen and bar teams, checking order accuracy, managing billing and payment, and maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the dining area. You will also follow health, safety, and hygiene guidelines, support special events or buffet service, and contribute to a positive team environment. Qualifications Strong customer service skills with a focus on creating welcoming, positive experiences for guests. Experience in food & beverage or food service operations, including basic understanding of menus and dining standards. Clear and professional communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members. Basic cooking or food preparation familiarity is an advantage, particularly in hotel or restaurant settings. Ability to stand for extended periods, carry trays, and move quickly and safely in a busy restaurant environment. Attention to detail in order taking, billing, table setup, and cleanliness, with strong organizational skills. Team-oriented mindset, reliability, and flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required. Prior experience in hospitality or restaurant service is preferred; formal training in hospitality is a plus. Proficiency in English; additional language skills, especially Arabic or other foreign languages, are beneficial. Show more
