Senior UX/UI Specialist (Figma)

We are seeking a talented and experienced UX/UI Specialist to join our Digital Design and Development department. In this role, you will be responsible for designing clear, usable digital experiences and translating user needs and business requirements into professional interfaces and interactive prototypes using Figma. You will conduct user research, analyze user journeys, test designs, and collaborate with developers to ensure implementation quality. Key Responsibilities User Research & Analysis: Understand user needs through interviews, surveys, and usage data analysis. Evaluate existing interfaces to identify usability issues and opportunities for improvement. Design & Prototyping: Develop user journey maps, interaction flows, and information architecture. Create wireframes, detailed page designs, and interactive prototypes in Figma to demonstrate navigation and expected behavior. Design Systems: Develop and maintain a component library and design system, covering colors, typography, spacing, and interaction patterns. Design component states, including loading, error, success, and empty states. Testing & Iteration: Conduct usability tests, analyze findings, and refine designs based on evidence. Collaboration & Handoff: Provide designs and specifications to developers and review implementation against approved designs. Present proposals to stakeholders and document feedback and design decisions. Accessibility & Localization: Support both Arabic and English interfaces, including RTL and LTR layouts. Apply accessibility principles, clear content presentation, and intuitive navigation. Qualifications and Experience Experience: At least five years of experience in UX/UI design for websites and applications, with strong proficiency in Figma. Education: Bachelor's degree in Digital Design, Interaction Design, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience. Portfolio: A portfolio of case studies demonstrating the problem, research, design decisions, and testing results. Skills: Practical experience conducting user research and usability testing. Experience designing responsive interfaces and reusable components. Ability to translate complex requirements into clear user flows and interfaces. Strong communication, presentation, and collaboration skills. Required Figma Skills Auto Layout: Build flexible layouts that adapt to content and screen sizes. Components and Variants: Create shared components and manage their states and properties. Variables and Styles: Organize colors, typography, spacing, and design system properties. Prototyping: Build interactive prototypes demonstrating navigation and interactions. Responsive Design: Use appropriate constraints and layouts for different screens. Design Libraries: Organize and maintain design libraries and ensure consistency. Developer Handoff: Deliver specifications and assets through Dev Mode or approved documentation methods. File Organization: Clearly name pages, layers, and components and document revisions. Preferred Additional Skills Ability to interpret user behavior and data from digital analytics tools. Experience designing tables, dashboards, and multi-step forms. UX writing skills for concise, clear interface content. Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and frontend development capabilities. Experience facilitating workshops and discussing findings with stakeholders. Expected Deliverables User research and UX evaluation reports. User journey maps and user flows.
