MEP Manager

MakePlace Development is looking for an experienced and highly motivated MEP Manager to join our Construction Team. 📍 Location: New Cairo, Egypt Key Responsibilities: Manage and supervise all MEP activities throughout the project lifecycle. Coordinate Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, HVAC, and Low Current works. Review shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and technical documents. Ensure MEP works are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project schedules. Coordinate MEP works with Civil, Architectural, and other project disciplines. Manage and monitor MEP subcontractors, consultants, suppliers, and site teams. Follow up on testing, commissioning, snagging, and final handover. Monitor progress, manpower, materials, and MEP-related costs. Ensure compliance with HSE requirements and applicable codes and standards. Lead and support the MEP engineering and technical teams. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. 15+ years of experience in MEP construction and project management. Strong experience in construction projects, preferably residential, commercial, or mixed-use developments. Strong technical knowledge of MEP systems, drawings, specifications, and site execution. Proven experience managing subcontractors and multidisciplinary teams.
