About Us Egypt Time Co. is a global destination management company with its operational headquarters in Alexandria and a UK group in London. We deliver conferences, corporate events and full travel programmes for multinational clients, medical associations and institutions across Egypt, the MENAT region and international markets. We have more than 16 years of experience, and our UK entity is a member of Protected Trust Services (PTS). The Role: Please read ALL MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS carefully below For the well-travelled, the polished and the ambitious: take ownership of corporate events at the region's most luxurious venues, work with multinational clients, and grow into leadership with a global group. You will work on corporate events and on large-scale medical and industry conferences, including international congresses run in partnership with prestigious universities, with speakers and faculty from around the world. You will own events from first brief to final payment. You will be the client's main point of contact, manage budgets and contracts, coordinate hotels and suppliers on the ground, and represent Egypt Time Co. with confidence at every level, from on-site teams to corporate executives. When the events calendar is quieter, you will build relationships with existing and new clients in Egypt and overseas, and represent the company at exhibitions. On the long term, this role serves as a high-potential launchpad toward senior executive leadership position within Egypt Time Co., offering you the creative freedom to shape bespoke event experiences, build your own prestigious client portfolio, and directly drive our regional and global growth. Key Responsibilities Event delivery Act as the main contact for assigned clients and events, from brief to close. Coordinate with client representatives on objectives, programme, timings and changes. Communicate with hotels, venues and suppliers before and during events, including on site. Travel within Egypt and abroad to manage events on the ground. Support large medical and industry conferences, including coordination with university partners, international faculty and scientific committees. Enforce company policies and standards with any stakeholder, even under pressure. Contracts and finance Review and manage contracts with suppliers and clients. Build event budgets and cost breakdowns, and allocate budget across event elements. Track payments, deposits and deadlines from clients and to suppliers. Collect payments, including cash, and keep accurate financial records for each event. Reconcile each event's final costs against its approved budget. Client relationships and business development In low season, contact existing clients and build rapport with potential new clients in Egypt and overseas. Attend exhibitions and industry events on the company's behalf. Identify opportunities for new business and share them with management. Team Work closely with reservations, operations and management colleagues. Raise issues openly and early, and share what you learn after each event. Mandatory Requirements Applications that do not meet all of the following will be automatically rejected. Must be living in Alexandria. Applications from Cairo or other parts of Egypt will not be accepted. Must be able to travel within Egypt and abroad, at short notice when needed. Proven English proficiency, shown by one of the following: A university degree in English, or A CEFR B2 English certificate (minimum), or An IELTS score of 5.0 or higher Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Outlook or Google Workspace. University Bachelor's degree (minimum). Student applications are not accepted. At least 1 year of experience in event management or conference management. Good understanding of the hotel industry and of working with corporate clients. Experience communicating with a range of stakeholders, including executive level. Ability to build budgets, read contracts and track payments. Willingness to learn and grow within the company. Applications that do not meet the minimum requirements will not be considered.
