Accountant San Stefano, Alexandria, Egypt Full-Time | On-site We are looking for an Accountant to join our Accounting team in Alexandria. The ideal candidate has strong accounting fundamentals, hands-on experience in financial closing and reporting, and the ability to use technology and AI tools to improve accounting processes and day-to-day efficiency. Key Responsibilities Perform monthly closing activities, reconciliations, and accounting adjustments. Prepare periodic financial statements and financial reports. Prepare financial analyses and ad-hoc reports as required. Coordinate with external auditors within the assigned scope. Provide financial information and support to operational and management teams. Take ownership of assigned accounting activities. Proactively contribute to improving accounting processes and controls. Use technology and AI tools to improve reporting, analysis, and routine accounting activities. Requirements Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field from a foreign university or an English-taught program at an Arab university. Strong academic performance in accounting subjects. Strong written and spoken English. Relevant experience in accounting, closing, reconciliations, and financial reporting. Strong Microsoft Excel skills. Experience with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite,Zoho, or Odoo. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. High learning agility, initiative, and ownership. Ability to contribute beyond traditional transactional accounting and support the business with financial insights. AI & Technology Skills We are particularly interested in candidates who have practical experience using AI in finance and accounting, including: Claude, ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, or similar tools. Financial data analysis and variance identification. Financial reporting and management presentations. Document and contract review. Closing and audit support.
