Role Description The English Homeroom Teacher is a full-time, on-site role based at Kiddies College in New Cairo. This role involves planning and delivering age-appropriate English lessons that integrate language skills with the play-based, multi-intelligence curriculum. The teacher will manage the homeroom environment, guide daily routines, and support children’s social, emotional, and academic development through interactive activities, storytelling, and structured learning. Responsibilities include preparing lesson materials, assessing student progress, maintaining clear communication with families, and collaborating with colleagues to ensure a consistent, caring classroom experience. The teacher is expected to uphold the nursery’s safety, hygiene, and child protection standards while creating a positive, inclusive learning atmosphere. Qualifications Strong foundation in English Teaching and Education, with practical experience in early childhood or primary-level instruction. Demonstrated Teaching and Lesson Planning skills, including the ability to design engaging, age-appropriate activities and assessments. Excellent Communication skills for clear interaction with children, families, and colleagues, and for maintaining accurate documentation. Experience with play-based or multi-intelligence learning approaches, and the ability to create an inclusive, supportive classroom environment. Patience, empathy, and strong classroom management skills, with a commitment to child safety, wellbeing, and professional ethics.
