Job Summary The Electronics Production Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing all electronics manufacturing activities to ensure production targets, quality standards, delivery schedules, and cost objectives are achieved. The role involves managing production teams, optimizing manufacturing processes, maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities Production Management Plan, organize, and manage daily production activities to meet customer demand and delivery schedules. Develop and implement production plans, capacity utilization strategies, and resource allocation. Monitor production performance and take corrective actions to achieve operational targets. Ensure efficient use of manpower, materials, machinery, and production facilities. Quality Assurance Ensure products meet company quality standards and customer specifications. Collaborate with the Quality Department to resolve production-related quality issues. Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to reduce defects and rework. Maintain compliance with ISO standards and relevant industry regulations. Process Improvement Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or similar methodologies. Analyze production data and identify opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency, and yield. Lead efforts to reduce waste, downtime, and manufacturing costs. Team Leadership Manage, coach, and develop production supervisors, engineers, and operators. Conduct performance evaluations and establish employee development plans. Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous learning. Ensure adequate staffing levels and workforce planning. Health, Safety, and Compliance Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and company regulations. Promote a safe working environment and investigate production-related incidents. Ensure proper implementation of workplace safety procedures. Inventory and Materials Management Coordinate with Supply Chain, Procurement, and Warehouse teams to ensure material availability. Monitor inventory levels and avoid production interruptions. Support demand forecasting and production scheduling activities. Equipment and Maintenance Ensure production equipment is properly maintained and operating efficiently. Coordinate with Maintenance and Engineering teams to minimize machine downtime. Support new equipment installation and production line expansion projects. Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field. Experience : 3-7 years of experience in electronics manufacturing, Required Skills Strong knowledge of electronics assembly processes (SMT, PCB assembly, testing, and final assembly). Knowledge of production planning and inventory control. Strong leadership and people management abilities. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. The Pattern Maker will work closely with cutting and sewing teams to resolve technical issues, maintain pattern libraries, and ensure consistency across styles and sizes. The role also involves using manual and computer-aided tools to optimize pattern layout, reduce fabric waste, and support on-time manufacturing. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong pattern design and pattern making skills, including drafting, grading, and modifying patterns for different sizes and styles. Candidates should possess fitting and sewing skills to evaluate garment fit, perform sample adjustments, and communicate practical construction solutions to production teams. Candidates should possess computer-aided design (CAD) skills for pattern development, digital pattern adjustments, and efficient layout planning. Relevant experience in textile or apparel manufacturing, especially in pattern rooms or sample departments, is beneficial. Attention to detail, strong measurement and math skills, and the ability to read and interpret technical specifications are important.
