Accounting Manager - Freight Forwarder

FP&A SUPERVISOR Reporting to: Finance Manager Function: Finance Location: 10th of Ramadan/Heliopolis Role Purpose We are looking for an FP&A Supervisor to own financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and P&L analysis for a fast-growing Egyptian FMCG manufacturer. You will work closely with all departments to turn numbers into decisions, contribute to the SAP S/4HANA implementation, and support strategic modelling for major company investments. Key Responsibilities Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting ● Own the annual budget process end to end, including calendar, templates, and consolidation. ● Lead the monthly rolling forecast, keeping it current and genuinely useful for decision making. ● Plan and actualize the P&L. ● Own G&A overhead planning, including budgeting, forecasting, and monthly spend tracking against plan. ● Work with department heads to challenge and validate overhead assumptions. ● Actively support delivery of forecast and budget targets across the business. Management Reporting & Performance Analysis ● Build and maintain the monthly management reporting pack and KPI dashboards covering financial and operational performance. ● Drive variance analysis across the business, identifying key drivers behind results to support management decisions. ● Support the Business Finance Director on strategic modelling for the company's investments. ● Build ad hoc financial models to support business decisions as they arise. Business Partnering ● Challenge assumptions, flag risk, and bring a financial lens into commercial and operational decisions. ● Own the company's P&L and lead its presentation to management. ● Build strong, collaborative relationships across functions, using influence rather than formal authority to drive outcomes. Transformation, Systems & Controls ● Provide ad hoc support to the SAP S/4HANA implementation, as needed. ● Contribute to building more structured and disciplined planning and reporting processes as the function matures. ● Help develop and strengthen policies and controls relevant to FP&A, including periodic reviews to assess their effectiveness. Required Experience & Qualifications ● 5 to 8 years of progressive experience, including a background specifically within FP&A. ● FMCG industry background required. Manufacturing experience is a strong plus. ● Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA required. ● CMA certification is a plus, not mandatory. Technical Skills ● Advanced Excel and financial modelling are essential. ● SAP S/4HANA, with practical, hands-on experience. ● Power BI, Power Query, or similar BI and automation tools are a plus. ● Strong professional English. Leadership & Behavioral Competencies ● Strong interpersonal skills and comfort managing multiple stakeholders across functions. ● Organized and structured, able to run recurring processes without things slipping. ● Able to drive change and push back diplomatically. Minimum 4+ years of experience in Payroll preferably within multinational organizations. Hands-on experience in payroll processing, offboarding, and employee final settlements. Experience in the financial services sector is a plus. Job Specific Skills Strong experience in end-to-end payroll processing and payroll reconciliation. Good knowledge of local labor laws, social insurance regulations, and income tax requirements. Experience managing employee onboarding and offboarding processes. Strong knowledge of final settlement calculations and exit procedures. Excellent Microsoft Excel skills, including reporting and data analysis. Excellent communication in English.
