Role Description The iOS Tech Lead (Banking) is a full-time, on-site role based in Qesm El Maadi. This role is responsible for leading the design and development of iOS banking applications, overseeing technical architecture, code quality, and best practices. The iOS Tech Lead collaborates with product managers, business analysts, UX/UI designers, and backend teams to translate banking requirements into secure, scalable, and user-friendly mobile solutions. Day-to-day tasks include guiding a team of iOS developers, performing code reviews, optimizing application performance, ensuring compliance with security and regulatory standards, and supporting integration with banking APIs and core systems. The role also involves mentoring team members, contributing to technical roadmaps, and actively participating in sprint planning, estimation, and technical documentation. Qualifications Strong expertise in iOS development using Swift and modern iOS frameworks, with experience in building and maintaining complex, production-grade mobile applications. Proven experience in technical leadership, including mentoring developers, conducting code reviews, and defining mobile architecture and best practices. Background in banking or financial services applications, with an understanding of secure transactions, authentication flows, and regulatory and security requirements. Solid knowledge of software engineering principles, including design patterns, RESTful APIs, integration with backend services, and version control (e.g., Git). Experience with Agile methodologies, working in cross-functional teams, and contributing to sprint planning, backlog refinement, and technical documentation. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and optimize performance and reliability. Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders and explain technical decisions clearly. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience; experience in telecom, IT, or infrastructure domains is an asset.
