Join the team that designs journeys to some of the world’s most remarkable places, and make every guest’s trip to Egypt one they never forget.
About Going Places
Going Places builds tailor-made trips to places worth getting right. Our brands include This is Egypt, This is Kyrgyzstan, This is Socotra, and the Nile cruise specialists Dahabieh.com and croisieredunil.com.
We care deeply about the experience. Every trip is designed around the guest, never pulled off a shelf, and every detail matters: the right guide, the right boat, the right pace, the right moment at a temple. We work with a hand-picked network of local guides and partners, including 200+ Nile cruise ships and dahabiyas, and we measure ourselves by how our guests feel when they get home.
Technology is at the heart of what we do. We build our own websites, interactive maps, data and content in-house, and we use AI-assisted tools for research, itinerary design and quotations. Our tools take care of the routine so our people can give every guest more personal attention, not less.
We work across several destinations, including Egypt, Turkey, Namibia, Kyrgyzstan and Socotra. This role is dedicated to Egypt.
The role
You own each guest’s experience from the first conversation to the final goodbye. You listen, design the trip, check availability with our partners, send the offer and close the booking. Then you stay with the guest until they fly home, and follow up afterwards.
This is not a back-office role and there is no hand-off after booking. If a guest has a question on day five of their Nile cruise, they come to you. You will use modern tools, including AI, every day, and help shape how we use them, so that technology handles the busywork and you can focus on the guest.
You will report to the Commercial Director.
