All Positions Engineering Cairo, Egypt Full-timeOpenNew Technician About The Role The Technician works alongside Technical Support Engineers to prepare, install, inspect, maintain, and repair CashPrime equipment. You will carry out assigned technical work safely, record every machine and part accurately, report diagnostic findings clearly, and escalate decisions that require engineering approval. Reports to: Technical Support Manager What You'll Do Assist engineers with installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, workshop repair, and acceptance testing Inspect mechanical, electrical, electronic, sensor, transport-path, power, and peripheral components using approved procedures and tools Perform assigned cleaning, adjustment, calibration, assembly, disassembly, cable, module, and consumable replacement work Test repaired equipment against the engineer’s checklist and record readings, symptoms, actions, parts, and results before handover Keep model, serial number, site, ticket, tool, spare-part, and returned-part records accurate in the service system Prepare tools and parts for field visits, maintain a safe and orderly workshop, and protect customer equipment and data Report findings promptly, follow the assigned engineer’s technical direction, and never close or alter an engineering decision without approval Support operator demonstrations and explain approved daily care and first-line checks clearly and professionally What We're Looking For Technical diploma or institute qualification in electronics, electricity, electromechanics, mechatronics, or a closely related field 0-3 years of hands-on maintenance, assembly, installation, workshop, or field-service experience Ability to use hand tools and basic electrical measuring equipment and to follow manuals, diagrams, checklists, and safety instructions Disciplined coordination with engineers and accurate written recording of technical work Careful handling of parts, tools, customer assets, and confidential information Willingness to travel to customer sites and work within scheduled service coverage Good Arabic communication and the ability to read practical technical English Nice to Have Experience with cash counters, sorters, deposit machines, ATMs, kiosks, printers, scanners, or similar automated equipment Basic soldering, cable termination, networking, Windows, firmware, or sensor experience Experience recording work in ERP, help-desk, field-service, inventory, or workshop systems Valid driving licence What We Offer Structured training on CashPrime products, service procedures, tools, and safety requirements Daily learning alongside experienced technical support engineers Hands-on exposure to cash automation, self-service, printing, scanning, and related systems A documented development route toward broader technical responsibility Compensation and benefits aligned with experience and company policy About CashPrime CashPrime connects cash-handling hardware, ARKASH, implementation, and lifecycle service for banks, CIT operators, and retailers across Egypt, the UAE, and Saudi Arabia.
