Role Description The Humanities Teacher will design and deliver engaging lessons in subjects such as geography and social studies for middle school learners, aligning with Baron International School’s academic standards and holistic education philosophy. Daily responsibilities include planning and implementing differentiated lesson plans, developing and updating curriculum materials, assessing student progress, and providing constructive feedback to support individual growth. The teacher will create a safe, inclusive classroom environment that fosters curiosity, critical thinking, and respectful discussion, while collaborating with colleagues to support cross-curricular projects and school-wide initiatives. Additional duties include participating in parent–guardian communication, attending staff meetings and professional development sessions, and contributing to extracurricular or enrichment activities as needed. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Qesm El Nozha. Qualifications Strong lesson planning and curriculum development skills, with the ability to design clear, structured, and engaging humanities learning experiences. Experience teaching middle school learners, with an understanding of age-appropriate pedagogy and classroom management strategies. Effective communication skills, including the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues. Subject knowledge in geography and related humanities disciplines, with the ability to connect content to real-world contexts and global perspectives. Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education, Humanities, Social Sciences, or a related field. Demonstrated commitment to inclusive, student-centered teaching and supporting diverse learning needs. Proficiency in using educational technology and digital tools to enhance instruction and assessment. Willingness to engage in ongoing professional development and contribute to the wider school community. Show more
