About The Role
The Purchasing Clerk is part of the Purchasing Department whose function is to procure various item utilized by the hotel.
What You Will Do
Implement the 10/5 Rule at all times during work hours.
The ability to maintain logs on movement and inventory of stock items and tools.
The ability to maintain benchmark calendars for 90 day, 6 months and annual performance evaluations of staff members.
The ability to handle necessary follow-up and updating of availability of both internal and external training opportunities through Human Resources Department and making such information known to the Engineering Management staff and scheduling of same.
The ability to assist in updating comprehensive departmental policies and manuals.
The ability to ensure effective communication and good relations between the Engineering Department and other departments within the resort.
The ability to prepare and follow through on any projects as outlined by Engineering Management Staff.
What You Bring
Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language.
High degree of initiative, motivation and excellent organizational skills.
High school graduate or equivalent required.
Must be proficient in computer skills, such as Excel, Word, ability to learn new software programs as trained, and some familiarity with Access similar systems.
Minimum 2 years job related experience or accounting record i.e. purchasing or receiving.

About the Role
The Senior Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for ensuring that all meat production processes comply with food safety standards, quality requirements, and regulatory guidelines. The role involves monitoring production activities, implementing quality control procedures, maintaining food safety systems, and ensuring that all products meet the required specifications from raw material receiving to final product dispatch.

Job Responsibilities
- Monitor all stages of meat production to ensure compliance with quality standards, food safety requirements, and approved procedures.
- Ensure the implementation and maintenance of HACCP, GMP, GHP, and other applicable food safety systems.
- Inspect incoming raw meat, ingredients, and packaging materials to ensure compliance with approved specifications.
- Monitor critical control points (CCPs), including cooking, chilling, freezing, storage, and handling processes, as applicable.
- Conduct regular inspections of production lines, equipment, personnel hygiene, and sanitation practices.
- Verify compliance with temperature control requirements throughout production, storage, and transportation.
- Investigate quality deviations, non-conformities, and customer complaints, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Conduct internal quality and food safety audits and follow up on corrective action plans.
- Review and maintain quality documentation, inspection records, traceability records, and food safety reports.
- Coordinate with Production, Warehouse, Maintenance, and other relevant departments to resolve quality issues.
- Ensure proper product identification, traceability, and implementation of product recall procedures when necessary.
- Monitor microbiological and chemical testing results in coordination with the laboratory or external testing facilities.
- Support the development and revision of quality procedures, work instructions, and inspection checklists.
- Train production employees on food safety, personal hygiene, quality standards, and safe meat-handling practices.
- Ensure compliance with applicable food safety regulations, customer requirements, and relevant certification standards.
- Analyze quality performance indicators and recommend improvements to reduce product defects, waste, and food safety risks.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Veterinary Medicine, Agriculture, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Food Safety, preferably in meat processing or meat production facilities.
- Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP, GHP, and food safety management systems.
- Practical experience in meat processing operations, including raw material inspection, production monitoring, and finished product evaluation.
- Knowledge of microbiological hazards, cross-contamination prevention, allergen control, and temperature management.
- Experience in conducting internal audits, investigating non-conformities, and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
- Familiarity with ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, BRCGS, or other relevant food safety standards is an advantage.
- Good understanding of food safety regulations and applicable local regulatory requirements.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Good command of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
- High attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Flexibility to work shifts when required.
