Role Description This is a remote, contract role for a Chinese to Arabic Translator. The translator will accurately translate written content from Chinese into Arabic, ensuring linguistic quality, cultural appropriateness, and consistency with project guidelines. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing source materials, performing translation and localization, revising and proofreading translations, and collaborating with project managers and other linguists to meet deadlines and quality standards. The role may involve working with technical, marketing, product, and AI-related content, following client-specific terminology and style requirements. The translator is expected to manage their own schedule, handle multiple projects, and maintain secure and confidential handling of assigned materials. Qualifications Strong proficiency in Chinese (reading) and Arabic (native or near-native writing), with excellent command of grammar, style, and vocabulary in both languages. Demonstrated experience in translation and localization, preferably involving technical, business, or AI-related content. Skilled in proofreading, editing, and quality assurance of translated texts to ensure accuracy and consistency.
